Product Description Rare earth magnets are the strongest type of permanent magnet currently made. They are amazingly powerful for their size and have innumerable uses. These disc magnets are 0.500 inch (12.7mm) diameter and 0.125 inch (3.2mm) thick. They are magnetized through the thickness. They are composed of grade 40 neodymium iron boron magnetic material and are plated in nickel-copper-nickel for a shiny corrosion resistant finish. Their individual pull force is approximately 5 lbs. Maximum working temperature is 176 F (80 C). Magnets may chip and crack if allowed to snap together.

Awesome magnets July 11, 2010 Don These are amazing magnets, as well as the shipping, it was right on time. Wonderful buying experience.
Powerful little things June 15, 2010 Tetris Master (Los Angeles, CA USA) Years of online shopping have turned me into a skeptic when it comes to the claims made by manufacturers about their products. I was very surprised when these magnets turned out to be the real deal.
I bought these to sew into a cover I was making for my bird's cage. The tough, heavy denim stays in place without sagging one bit, even when it has 2 layers of denim between it and the metal cage. They stick to each other so strongly that you need a strong pair of hands to get them separated. You should take serious precautions to keep them away from any credit cards, computers, TVs, etc.
Strong and good size June 1, 2010 Cody (LAS VEGAS, NV, United States) If you're thinking of buying these types of magnets, this size seems to be the most useful. These magnets work great.
Perfect for a stainless steel refrigerator March 22, 2010 JayJay (Chicago, IL) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Previously I bought the 3/4" x 1/8" magnets and they are incredibly strong, in fact too strong for my fridge front. Most of my magnets won't stick to the front of my stainless steel fridge at all and it's always bothered me. Now though thanks to $10 getting me 24 of these little guys I simply wrip off the old magnetic backing and glue these on or just glue these straight to the magnets. Although these are small they are still incredibly strong and one can easily hold up a multipage brochure on the stainless front. Nice.
I used Gorilla Super Glue which cured in 30 seconds so they worked great. One thing of note though was the fumes coming off of any excess on the sides will adhere to the fridge face so if you use this glue make sure to let your magnets sit by themselves for at least 24 hours before placing them on your fridge.
POWERFUL March 20, 2010 A. Rodriguez 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I am using them to build a device for a cometition. They were perfect! Very powerful, and my classmates couldn't stop playing with them. Keep them away from children. TOO DANGEROUS to be a toy.
