2 out of 5 stars don't buy this   November 10, 2008

The drawer is so flimsy there is no way to fit it on both sides of the track at the same time. My husband and I have tried every possible way to put the drawer on and it keeps falling apart. The wood slats on the crib creak like they are about to crack if you put any pressure on them. Our child isn't born yet and i have serious doubt about putting him in this crib.

I recommend despite dislikes.

What we liked:

Great for the sub 200 price.

Crib frame is sturdy and well made.

Color and finish are very nice.

What we disliked:

Assembly was a pain as the directions were not communicated well and are stuck to the mattress board. Just keep looking at it and saying to yourself "it does go together".

The drawer was useless and poorly made, it required a 1.25 in cut of the board that makes up the bottom. This is free floating with wheels on it that seam to get stuck in out carpet all the time. Your better of buying some short boxes and sliding them under the crib as they work the same without the pain of assembly.

Tips:

Unpack in the garage or outside as the foam packing gets everywhere.

You will have parts left over for the cribs other functions.

While I did get this together without my wife (surprise gift), assembly is best done as a 2 person job for holding some of the parts up.

This is a great crib. It was not hard to put together, and it feels very sturdy. I like that you do not have to buy a seperate conversion kit to make it into a toddler bed, day bed, or full headboard. The drawer is a little smaller than I thought it would be but it will still be helpful!

this crib was easy to put together..but we
could not figure out where the drawer went and
still can't..otherwise it is an excellent bed.
and if soneone can tell me how to install the
drawer i would be delighted!

4 out of 5 stars Nice crib   October 29, 2008

Very nice crib. The color was exactly what I wanted. The only problems I had with it was the fact that the instructions were printed on the mattress support instead of on a seperate piece of paper or booklet and that it was difficult to put together by myself. I definitely recommend having someone help with putting it together if at all possible. This was purchased as a replacement for a recalled crib, and I find that I like this one better than the recalled one anyway.
