Amazon.com Product Description If you need accent lighting but want a little more illumination than smaller undercabinet models provide, the G9165 pucks are the answer. Good Earth Lighting's Sunspot line of halogen undercabinet "puck" lights give you bright, clean light in a small, low-profile housing that will fit just about anywhere (2-3/4-inch diameter by 1-inch depth). The G9165 gives you the extra brightness of five 10-watt halogen bulbs. Some assembly is required--you have to install the roller on-off switch, for instance--but the included owner's manual makes the process clear. Installation is straightforward, too (the puck may be surface- or recess-mounted), and the unit comes with everything you need, including screws and wire guides. Overall, a great option for brighter undercabinet accent lighting. For other finish options, see #G9165-WH-I and #G9165-SS-1. If you don't need five lights worth of brightness, you may want to look into the G9163 series of three-lamp pucks. Three-year warranty. UL listed.--Josh Dettweiler What's in the Box Puck housing (white), glass diffuser, five 10-watt halogen bulbs, magnetic transformer, power cord, hardware kit (wire guides, screws, grommets, on/off roller switch assembly), owner's manual

Great lighting at a great price November 7, 2008 B. Terese Benton (OBX gal) I had these undercabinet lights in my previous house. I liked them so much that I purchased another set for my new home. Lights are bright and are easily hidden. I am sure the purchaser of these lights will be as satisified as I am!
Great Lights August 25, 2008 Jeffrey C. Butts (Westerville, Ohio) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought these lights and I had a transformer burn out and the company sent me out another one the next day. After 4 years I have just now had one light go out and need replaced. I love these lights and I think the guy with the bad review just had bad luck. Nobody can buy anything that will last forever anymore so these lights have held up well so far. Wish local stores still stocked these.
Buy a better set of lights May 15, 2008 Fixer Troll (USA) I have had three of the the 5 puck sets for about 2 years. Everything worked fine until now. The first reviewer did not do poor electrical work. The transformers have all started to fail. I will try to adapt 120v to 11.5 v transformers into the individual systems. We'll see what happens. The life of this product is limited. I hope this review helps.
Pretty Nice April 16, 2007 MasterTech4523 (Cambridge, MA) I have the same kit, installed them under my cabinets in my kitchen. Nothing has burned out and they look great. For the price, these are perfect. Sounds like the other reviewer has done some bad electrical work. I am only on this page again because I am out to buy more.

I bought a set of 5 surface mount sunspot lights. They looked great under my cabinets however after about 5 months the bulbs started to burn out. They where very expensive to replace about $5.00 each. Now 8 months later the entire set stopped working. I determined the transformer burned out.The transformer says it has a 5A fuse. There must be one somewhere in the molded plastic goop inside the transformer, but forget it you will not find it. The transformer can not be replaced or purchased seperate. These lights are not made to last.Good Earth Company totally ignored my emails. I am forced to purchase a whole new set. Total Junk!. Old one will be in the landfill.
