Post punk perfection February 1, 2008 Terrence 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I agree with the other reviewer that mentioned similarities to Joy Division's "Love will tear us apart". Definitely got the 80's new wave and post-punk in there. Good album. Buy it.
When U2 meets Duran Duran meets Depeche Mode January 27, 2008 M. Buisman (Amsterdam, NL) 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
I was suggested this CD after listening and rating the last We Are Wolves CD. But that's really all. This album sounds highly slick produced and a breed between U2 and Depeche Mode with a little Duran Duran in the mix as well. And I don't like those bands. We Are Wolves is much more interesting than this.
Great!!! Sophmore album October 26, 2007 Sergio Vasquez (LOS ANgeles) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
Hexes For Exes Is one of my top buys of this year. Moving Units first album was more Funk and Disco. While Hex is more Electro. The sound of the album is Joy Division's "Love will Tear Us Apart" with a Blend of Interpol's "Obstacle one," and a bit Of Justices "D.A.N.C.E." Sprinkled on Top. Good mix and it will get you ready to dance in No Time. So Stop thinking about it and spend 14 bucks!!!
