Love it July 22, 2010 Theodore J Petrich (MARINA, CA, US) My first Hot tools curling iron finally gave up the ghost after many years of use. I immediately purchases a replacement.
LOVE IT June 17, 2010 Kathy M. Mathews (Montana) This was a replacement for one I dropped onto a hard surface and the tip came off. Everything worked but not being able to hold on to the heat proof tip was difficult. Anyway...I LOVE this curling iron. It gets hot enough to do two things...straighten my frizzy hair and curl it at the same time. I have used this brand for the past 4 years...I am hooked.
This curling iron hasn't worked right since I received it!! June 6, 2010 L. Fino (California) This was a replacement curling iron. I had the exact one and was extremely happy with it for several years. The spring broke on my first one and it would no long hold my hair when I used it. The new iron spring already sounds like it is going to break. Sometimes it doesn't hold my hair and I have to force it to close. I don't think it will last long at all!! This was not a good purchase!!
Great for loose curls :) June 3, 2010 T. thompson I ordered this curling iron last week because of all
the great reviews and it is one of the best. I love this
1 1/4 in. barrel becaue it gives you really delicate loose
curls, so if you want tighter curls i'd go with a 1 in. I
read on some of the reviews that it makes your hair stink,
and well it can if you don't use heat protectant spray...
The reason i only gave it four stars was because i have difficult
hair and even though i put it on the 9th-10th setting after a few
minutes some of my curls fall out, but that is without hairspray.
And the weather also plays a factor! I hate humidity! >.<
Overall, its a great curler and i'll probably be getting a smaller
version too. So i totally recommend this for anyone, except if you have
really short hair.
:D
Love the heat control April 29, 2010 K. J. T. The main thing to love about this tool is that you can control the amount of heat that the unit puts out. There's a dial with numbers bracketed within 'low' 'med' 'high' and 'extra hot'. Heats up quickly and maintains heat. Easy to use because it's got the grip on the end and the swivel base so the cord doesn't twist.
