The best foaming hand soap ever! January 18, 2010 Edward (Chicago) This stuff is really the best. Well-designed bottle that does not tip over, and amazingly fresh and clean, yet light fragrance. The best fragrance ever...this coming from a person who usually only uses unscented everything.
Okay Product, they use a lot of sexism to sell their soap November 25, 2009 Michael S. Burg (San Francisco, CA) 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
This was good soap, not much different than any other. I might have bought it again, maybe not. Recently Method started using a video of a naked woman in a shower being degraded by soap bubbles to sell their products in general and unapologetically claiming that people who don't like the ad just don't get, I don't know, that portraying the humiliation of a woman for laughs is a great way to sell cleaning products to women. So I'm not going to buy any more Method. I'm pretty happy with Planet brand cleaners for household cleaning and Dr. Bronners has never failed me yet.
Good Dispenser & Water Saver June 30, 2009 Sparky (Oakland, CA) I agree with Brown & Marsh. I bought the foam style on a whim, thinking that it was just a gimmick. It isn't, and it's little things like this that make the soap a good product.
It foams, which means it spreads out over your hands without pre-wetting--a tiny thing, but it means you can start cleansing your hands right away, and water isn't needed until you rinse off. Also, foam takes less pressure to dispense than the gel, normally no worry unless you have icky hands and need to press down with your wrist and need the dispenser to stay stable and soap-free. It beats using an automatic gel dispenser.
It smells fresh, doesn't dry out your hands and doesn't contain stuff bad for the planet. All hand soap should be like that but isn't, so unfortunately, this is a big plus.
My only disappointment is that Method Home (the maker) doesn't offer a refill for this scent, an ecological no-no. If this is a deal killer for you, get one of the other method Foaming Hand Soap scents that do have refills available. I'm just a real fan of this scent. It's worth 5 stars to me.
Foam and more Foam! January 2, 2008 Eddie Wannabee (Western Hemisphere) 0 out of 18 found this review helpful
Silly me. Thought initially they work for the Shower. As a Hand Soap it works average, can't seem to isolate the great attributes linked to this soap by other reviewers. I would have been happier with a similar soap from [...] If I would have known it was no shower soap before I made the purchase. [...] would have been cheaper and more quantitiy. I do acknowledge the fact that this is a little more classy and does have a particular smell that goes with it...BUT IT DIDNT WORK ON THE SHOWER! Foam and more Foam is what you get with this product. No wonder it is called Method Foaming Hand Soap. Silly me. Looks like it may last a long time for we do not wash our hands all that often, if truth be told, so I was forced to go to Amazon one more time to order the real Shower Soap and found a Goat's Milk soap? By that time I was desperate to deliver on a promise and since it was my doing buying a hand washing soap instead of shower soap I felt I had no more options but to dish out the "moola" twice! 3 Stars and who knows? Might like it more as we go along and even start washing hands around the house more often!
PS: A LONG TIME LATER AND I HAVE TO SAY THIS PRODUCT IS MUCH BETTER THAN 3 STARS. MI IGNORANCE ABOUT THE PRODUCT AND WHAT IT DOES INITIALLY PROMPTED ME TO DISLIKE IT BUT AFTER USING IT AND FINDING OUT HOW CONVENIENT AND EFFICIENT IT TURNED OUT TO BE IT DEFINITELY WARRANTS 4.5 STARS. I JUST PURCHASED MY NEXT BATCH! FAIR IS FAIR AND SO WHEN I CAME UPON MY REVIEW WHILE PURCHASING THIS ITEM AGAIN I THOUGHT AN UPDATE WAS IN ORDER. 8/5/09. BY THE WAY, WASHING OF HANDS HAS BECOME A VERY PLEASANT THING TO DO AND I FIND IT WORKS WONDERS SECONDS BEFORE USING A COMPUTER! THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE!
great container to reuse November 25, 2007 P. Doslu (Santa Monica, CA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Love the design of this bottle. Reuse it for dispensing dish soap and you'll find you'll use much less. Great product.
